Ender's S4-A guide to being hood rich

nick(AMD) has 17x8.5 +35 CHs and the 225s fit great on the 8.5. if a 225 doesnt help, might have to roll them a little. nothing too serious

What is this vortex?!?

what’d you do with the old wheels?

dont be dumb. vortex they would only say “lower it” thats it. dont make your first post over here some wise guy post. :banghead

They’re my winter set - currently sitting in my garage.

I don’t know anything about rolling/pullng/modifying fenders, but it seems like there’s nothing there to roll. I’ll go 225s.

Sell me your stockers for my b5 a4… i’m serious.

Bret, I was just kidding. I knew you would get what I was talking about.

Sorry man, they’re my winter set. I do have these for sale if you have any use for them - read description of wheels: http://shift518.com/showthread.php?t=18421

I may be interested in the spacers. do you know if they’re also 5x100?

I’m assuming they are, I’ll look at the box and confirm when I am home tonight.

Do you live in Guilderland?

Yea, by Pinehaven

Oh word I used to work there. I live down 155 by the new Stewarts they just built.

Sick, I drive down there every once in a while to cruise

i drive down there quite a bit as well :tongue

H&R 5x100/5x112 are on the same item.

Exactly what he said (used to work there, live by Stewart’s) :rofl

Need to find the time for:
Gutting downpipes & replacing 2 o2s
APR snub mount
Power steering pump

In the spirit of saving as much money as pissible, I finally got around to gutting my downpipes and replacing two 02 sensors that have been throwing codes for months now. Downpipes without pre-cats are anywhere from $250-$1000. F that, just butcher your stock dp’s!

This was a pretty big pain in the ass to do as there is almost no room to work with in the engine bay and even less around the downpipe flanges. Each flange bolt was a puzzle as to how to get a wrench on it and apply enough torque to break the nuts free. Most of them also required another 100 fifteen degree turns with a box wrench to get them out too because there is absolutely no room to move in there.

Workspace:

Airbox out. I know, my engine bay is dirtier than a vietnamese hooker.

Opening to work through on passenger side for top flange bolt.

Opening on passenger side in center of picture. My arm got scraped to shit cramming it down this.

Passenger side dp out

Exhaust side of passenger turbo from top

2nd dp out

Exhast side of driver turbo from top

You can see the pre-cat material to be gutted. Unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures of gutting them, but I pretty much had to go rambo with a drill, cold chisel and a hammer. They took about 20 minutes each.
