Curious if anyone has any engine shipping hookups? Looking for some decent rates, will make it worth your while… not a one time deal, relationship for heavier shipments?
-Pallet (Boxed in)
-50x36x30 (approx)
-750-800 pounds
-MUST be insured for $35,000
Best quote I have seen was around 350, not including insurance.
350 was via an indirect courier, 6 days shipment time versus 3, no insurance, and god knows what other loopholes to drop/lose/damage my shipment.
I will gladly pay that amount or more to make it as secure as possible. However, the fucking LUDICRIS prices I have recieved from some ranging from 1000-2600 are OUT of the question. I would sooner strap the thing on skateboards and push the fucking thing to Nebraska than pay more to ship an engine than the whole fucking car…
R&L is one of the shippers I have contacted. Quote wasnt too bad, about 450, though insurance is the problem. They cap at 10$/lb, and as anyone can figure out, thats WAAAAAAY short of what the shipment is worth. I have already contacted my insurance company about a rider on the shipment, but I would prefer to wait and hear back from another shipper I contacted first. Time is an issue as well, I need to get this thing out of here TOMORROW.
PM me the details and i can get you a quote in the morning. need the zip…residential or business etc. I can most likely do better than any of the quotes your getting. my carrier discounts range from 40% to 70% off depending on who is used.
Dan, I will call you. I can do it for $267 to $329 depending on if a liftgated truck is needed. That is through Roadway. Regular price = $711
If picked up today, it will be delivered on Friday.
Everyone of these threads results in, “pm juicedgt”. It is quite obvious that he is the go-to guy to get a shipping hookup. He has been working there for quite some time, so nothing is “outdated”. Its ok to pm the guy rather then cluttering the board with a repeated discussion that happens on a seemingly weekly basis.
