shipping an engine?

Has anyone shipped an engine or other very large car stuff before and know where to go for something like that?

I have someone interested in my swap (b-series, trans, axles, linkage), and they are in Nebraska.

Preferably, I’d like to find someone to pallet it up and all, so

  1. I dont need to bother, and
  2. its not my fault if the packaging is insufficient

Any suggestions welcome, also would like to know a ballpark price for that kind of stuff…

I had a long block v8 shipped down from NY to here in SC, it was just about 200 and some change. so if your shipping a 4 cylinder, it should cost u 100, hehe j/k.

all that should be around 200 at the most I’d say…

What company did you use to ship it?

at my job, we use conway as out number 1 shipper. they give us atleast the best rates

Try foward air by teh airport. Pretty cheap there.
