best place is freightquote.com

drain all fluids from the engine. put it on a pallet, band it down nicely.

get black shrink wrap, and wrap the hell out of it. basically, dont want it to be noticeable that it is a good engine.

then on the bill, classify it as scrap. cheapest way to ship.

blax global

is that a new african american independently owned company?

BAX :booty:

:itr41: the only way to ship is with the BLAX

its just a shortblock, im goin to try to weigh it and measure it and make some calls, thanks!

another note of interest…

if you are shipping it, make it clear that you will not pay for liftgate, or residentual deliveries. as that is pricey as hell. specify that it can be delivered to a business addy that has a loading dock/or forklift. if not available, than it will get dropped off at the local terminal for pickup.

those tailgate fees will nail you.

also, weigth is key too. weigh the block, and the pallet. we have a big scale we use at work to do this. a cast block alum head v8 import engine strapped to a pallet is usually around 600 lbs. if that helps out any.

bax wont ship it cause im shiping from residential

do not use DHL. mine came on a smashed pallet, oil pan on the ground, bands loosened when the pallet broke and engine was basically rolling around. ill never let someone ship me an engine with them again.
