engine turns over but won't start

I started off with a dead alternator, i replaced that and then the fuel sending unit went, so i replaced that and the fuel pump. now i still the turns over but wont start problem ideas? at this point i’m desperate and will try anything.

what motor did u check for spark.

KA and yes i have spark and fuel is leaving the sednign unit havent checked up front yet though

im guessing its a s13, well check if ur injectors are working.

also if they are maybe the motors just flooded.

stick a air line in the spark plug hole and let her rip until you dont smell fuel anymore then try it

Hey

recently had a sohc with similar problem–turned over fine -spark at the plugs- fuel pressure ok-but no fuel into any cylinder–this turned out to be several shorted terminals in the ECU due to moisture penetration–replaced ECU -problem solved

John

did u check the ecu for codes.

i would probably make sure it’s not flooded, the injectors are all working fine, and maybe replace the fuel filter for the hell of it unless you recently changed that. other than that just do a quick alternator test and don’t forget to double check fuses just in case.

I have a 91 KA24DE and one rainy night I was driving the wife home, we were approaching a red light and when I pushed the clutch in the car died (in the left turn lane, on an advance green light…nonetheless) It turned over but would not start. I was pissed so I put the pedal to the floor and turned it over and after a few chugs it fired right up. Turns out the moisture was friggin with the distributor. Check your ignition components for moisture. Also remove your spark plugs and take a look, their condition will often point towards the cause of many problems. Reference the back of a Haynes manual and it should have a whole wack of pics and what they mean.

Well this happend to me ,and i was lost for abit. Couple days later i checked the plugs, and cleaned them started how it was supposed to. So, Maybe you should try to clean your plugs thoroughly.
