England takes no prisoners

remind me of that episode of Reno 911 where that english bloke visited the force. He was real nice and charming most of the time but when it came down to business he was the hard ass of hard asses.

how do you know if he even understood the orders. He was immediately surrounded by 20 plainclothed officers. Do you know if the officers identified themselves? Do you know what they told him to do? No.

they did chase him down and stop him. And after they did had him stopped, they held him face down on the ground and pumped 5 shots into the back of his head.

do you? no…

but i bet he understood them…

Menezes was an electrician who had worked in Britain for three years, said his cousin, Alex Pereira, who also lives in London.
why run??? why

but it wasnt. And now he’s dead. He was under control, he was surrounded by 20 police officers. he wasnt going anywhere. Sure there was a possible risk of him detonating a device, but the cops had him pinned to the ground. I dont see the need in capping the poor fuck in the back of the head.

thats orders…to stop a belived suicide bomber they are ordered to shoot them in the head…5 times no…but once maybe, maybe twice…ok

u answered ur self…the killed him b/c he could have detonated himself with 20 police officers and more civilains around him

no, i dont but I’m not the one making presumptions. and theres housekeepers at my hotel that have been in the United States for a fucking decade and look at me like a deer in headlights when I tell them to take an extra towel to room 216.

As for why he ran? Maybe he thought he was getting jumped. Maybe he was wanted on some other lesser charge. Maybe he was drunk. Who knows why. Bottom line is that he was in custody and executed by British police.

no, acutally he couldnt have, considering he WASNT CARRYING A BOMB. All the bombs that went off in the last couple weeks have been briefcase bombs anyways. So now the cops have the right to chase down and shoot anyone with a briefcase that happens to run from them when confronted by 20 plainclothed officers?

well…i think working in a hotel and doing electral work is a lot different…i bet he could have spoken the language… and for him getting executed…thats Britains way of things…u will never see that law be allowed in the US…the followed orders…he didnt…end of story

reallly the where all in briefcases…no just the last 3…but the first four were all in backpacks worn by the bombers…soo who konws if he was going to put it next…since the were checking backpacks now…would u put it somewehe else…and it was the chance that he was wearing a bomb, and left a place that has been under servalance

really? There were plenty of non-english speaking mexicans on the team that wired up the new construction in my hotel…

And I dont really find fault with the officers in this case, I find fault with the shoot to kill “suspected” bombers policy. IMHO, you dont shoot people “suspected” of things. Because you can easily be wrong, as with this case. And theres no going back once you splatter the poor SOB’s brains all over the subway floor.

backpacks, briefcases… whatever. they could have sticks of dynamite hidden in dildos up stuffed up their asses. bottom line is that they ruthlessly executed an innocent man.

i dont think they needed to shoot him 5 times…no…yes mabye the could have checked him first…but what if he did have a bomb…and when the went to check him they died??

obey the police

shoot first ask questions later

yeah that approach seems to have worked out really well in this case.

He wasn’t on a suicide bomb mission, Just a suicide mission. I agree with everyone here. No you should not run from the cops at a time like this. And no cops should light somone up if they arent a bomber. And, Yes they should shoot to kill bombers. as far as innocent but shady lookin blokes, just shoot them in the legs or something. :reloading

Shooting a possible bomber in the legs isn’t going to stop anything from detonating.
