Entertainment Goods

Okay, i was given approval by big daddie his-self to do so, so i am

the OT thread i made earlier about home theater electronics at wholesale prices is still a go…again the best deal i can think of right now, would be for a 50" plasma flatscreen produced by NEC that costs 36-3900$ at a store would cost you $1500 fom me…
…i can find out more on monday(from my boss) what other dealies and electronics he can do…

…post of if the NEC TV interests you…or if u want anything else, make a list, and ill see what i can do for you. the company is theaterpro…and i kind of want to do an order all at once, that was hes not like “why are you buying all of this equipment of the sudden?” etc, etc. …so let me know what you want/are looking for, and ill see what i can do for you

hmmm. catalog? web page?

word, a catalog would be good :stuck_out_tongue:

I am not really looking for anything but if something at a good price jumps out at me i am sure i will be interested

what other lcds are offered, i am in the market for a 32" give or take

let me talk to my boss on monday, and ill see whats up…idk if hell have a catalog, but if he does, i snake one and let you guys know what he can do.

I would be interested in a large scale TV. No car for me this yr = something else to do with my time.

I would be looking for a 20"-24" LCD TV with dvi inputs.

I originally thought you got approval from your sugar daddy.

why would u want a lcd tv with DVI inputs

if ur thinking computer monitor

tvs of this size have a 1368x768 res

whereas computer monitors should be 1920X1080 or higher

if u want a computer monitor get a monitor

HD Cable Box outputs.

Adelphia Cable Boxes have the DVI outputs; as well as being able to use a HDMI cable with an adapter for a DVD Player.

I’m actually looking for a Okyno 6.1/7.1 reciever if you can come up with anything.

seriously, i want a really big TV. That 50" plasma sounds nice… someone talk me out of it.

lcd > plasma does that help?

i thought i read that somewhere. But i still want a really big tv… now i just want a really big LCD tv.

Interested in 50" lcd (or plasma maybe) as I said on the phone.

Why? I’ve heard plasma is brighter, but LCD doesn’t have the burn-in factor and runs on 4x less electricity?

How Big is Really Big??? I’ve got a 113"

i also would like a big tv. but assuming they don’t come witha warranty, I’m skeptical

yea plasma have burn in issues and need to be recharded every few years. quality of pictures in LCD is way better then plasma. there are tons of sites out there that did reviews. ive been in the market for a bigger lcd for a while now

bad news. this thread can actually be closed…
…“the employee discount” of factory pricing on all electronics is only open to employees with at least a year or more under their belt…
…and i will only be there until september. so sorry i got everyones hopes…

…i think he may be making this up tho, because he only told me this after i told him i was interested in a bunch of different stuff(some for you guys, and some for other people i know)

…either way he said no way, so sorry i let every down. it wont be the last time.

…this thread can be closed if need be.

AH HA!
