Just upgraded to the new factory Evolution MR shift knob. It feels like money (not literally). Bought it slightly used for a hell of a price off the evox forums.
This is a clearer pic than my phone can take. Its lightweight aluminum wrapped in black leather with a plate laser-etched with “LANCER EVolution” Its a nice lil touch in the interior. Now I gotta get the e-brake handle to match
Hawk HPS pads came in yesterday. Going on this weekend.
Anyone have any experience with these?
They are brake pads Ernest. They assist in stopping your car. Read the instructions in the box, it will describe the proper steps for break in.

The Hawk HPS pads have gotten mixed reviews, to put it nicely, from other Evo drivers. Some say they’re ok for daily driving while others claim they’re worse than stock with a very bad bite. Check it out:

My woman picked me up a CR shft knob and its lighter than my ap1 knob… I hate it. I just don’t have the heart to switch it back. Don’t wanna hurt her feelings lol.

My other one was nylon and plastic. The aluminum one is same weight. Just looks and feels sweeter.
