Damn. That sucks.

But good thing you found the torn timing belt, that would have been an expensive mistake.

I know. Thank god for the blown head gasket hahah

No. A buddy of mine just told me of a cool trick. Weld a washer to the top of the bolt (weld the piss out of it) then weld the piss out of a nut to the top of the washer from the inside. Start at the bottom then work up until it’s almost bubbling out. Then I now have a new head to the bolt!! Yay! I’m gonna try to find someone around here with a GOOD welder and who can actually use it. And then ask them to help me.

welding. it lets you do anything.

You know, if you ever need a hand, let me know and I’d be willing to help on my time off… which are Wednesdays up to 5 and Saturday’s after 4.

You know of anyone with a tow vehicle I could throw $20.00 so I could tow it to and from your shop?

If you want to split the coast of a uhual dolley I will do it I have to head done to georges to get an exhuast installed? Let me know

how much do those bad boys run? I don’t have a truck to haul it with, though.

He does.

…sort of :rofl

I can get one for like 20-30 bucks let me know man send me a email or pm and I will give you my info. I’m seriosu about this cause it will help both of us out and I live close too you anyway.

It would have to be a Saturday evening (after 4) since thats the only time I would have the shop available to me. This weekend is a no go for that as I am going to camp (planned way ahead of time).

Next weekend I think I can do that since I’m staying home for Edgefest. :aww

Game on, boys. Lets do this.

Get the new head gasket on?

Just got an email yesterday that it was shipped. But i was confused. The part I ordered was the 1.2mm Cometic. They also carry the OEM .8mm. This is what the description said:

Cometic HG RB20 80mm 1.2

That’s all. I’m gonna call monday to check for sure.

Got the head gasket in…and guess what? The 80mm is the bore (stock bore) and the thickness is 1.2mm. The 3 bolts that I couldn’t get out…well, there is no where at ALL in the head gasket for them to go through. So I think I just need to catch Sasquatch and make him pry the isht apart for me.

Flip/rotate it?

thats sick trunk styles are awesome, lmk if you have any bad expierence with that xtd clutch, my buddy did on his lude

Boogie? His was a stage 2, mine’s a stage 3. Apparently the 3’s are supposed to hold up. But we’ll see.

What? No. :bash
