no, I had no tools with me to better diagnose the problem because I stopped by his house. But one thing I’m sure of, Honda motors are not supposed to sound like subaru motors. Something is causing that on e cylinder to not fire properly and it could be a bunch of different things causing it. Hopefully we can find the issue in the next week.
If one cylinder is not firing at all it will sound like shit regardless.
All I’m saying, is at least get a compression test done ASAP.
ok, all 4 cylinders fire but i could only get 3 to fire at once…first cylinder 1,2,and 3 were firing…then only 1,2 and 4 were firing
weird enough to find out what was wrong i plugged cylinder 3’s injector clip into 4 and cylinder 4 started firing? haha
all injectors are working because i switched cylinder 4’s injector with cylinder 1’s injector, and i got the same results.
i am trying a different ecu to see if thats the problem…if not then its in the wiring. It has to be because i am getting spark on all 4 cylinders, all injectors work, me and andy checked the timing…thats ok
i did some research and all the black an yellow wires going to the injectors are suppose to have 12 volts running to them (i volt meatered all of them and each are getting 12 volts), the brown, red, blue, and yellow wire are suppose to go to the ecu to control when each injector is suppose to be grounded allowing the injector to open and spray fuel into the cylinder…sooo maybe the wire going to the ecu for the injector on cylinder one is messed up, or the ecu isnt controlling the ground to allow the injector to open
if anyone has and ideas or disagreements please feel free to share haha…this is the only thing keeping me back from driving the car unfortunatly

Looks awesome, love the gold but did you paint the exhaust cover with regular pant? Are you painting the rest of the car the same color? Also I love the Kevlar delete plates.

exhaust cover is painted with 2000 degree rated paint
i was thinking about painting the rest of the car the same color, it would be cool…problably gona repaint it white though
i saw the kevlar delete plates on a different car online and loved it so i though it would add to a nice clean look with the gold paint and the interior

for sure maybe i will do that…i need to figure out why my motor is running like poo poo before any thought is put into painting the whole car obviously…if i can save enough money over this summer it will deffinatly happen next winter…this build thread is going to go on forever fyi hahaha
Word, comp test and then get back to us. i have a car at my house running on three cylinders, it sounds like a suby buy there is a rod sticking out of the block lol. It still runs great with no knock but sounds funny.

the problem was resolved, ecu was to blame…i borrowed a ecu from andy at swerve and now all 4 cylinders are firing perfectly.
i called torontojdm and then are sending me a new ecu.
STILL waiting for my shift linkage from swerve, once that is on and the axle nuts are torqued down to spec i will be able to drive it 
i am still going to do a compression test this friday before it goes on the road, numbers will be up friday

i drove the car today, what a shitty day to drive it but i just wanted to drive it so bad…froze my ass off but it was worth it. everything works great, i think i need to adjust the clutch release cable a little bit, and fine tune some other things.

yeah too bad the ecu i borrowed from andy at swerve isnt the greatest…no vtec and cant beat on it, tracking says ill have the new ecu tomorrow

I seen this car in person Saturday.this car is super clean and his build came out perfect yo its very rare to see a motor and engine bay so dam clean…I was jealous lmao
