yeah this is a better project. id rather build my own car up then have to tear down someone elses major mistake.

after i put the pictures up i realized how shitty the vc looks with the flash…it dosent look like that in person, it looks better haha

Should have got it powdercoated! Definitely looks like a lot of orange peel, typical for paint though. You should get a sander to the lettering, it will make it look 10X better.

Looks good for now, I wouldnt have painted it the grease and other shit will eat it away, should have polished it with a high speed wire brush. My old B16 lasted a long time before I sold it, I polished the shit out of it for two full days, but it was worth it.
i dont like the sanded down lettering, i want the valve cover all one color…the orage peel effect is mostly the integrity of the metal because 1. originally the metal is textured to make the ripple effect on the stock painted vc and 2. because i sandblasted it and i didn’t use any sandpaper.

i didn’t paint over any grease, i spent over 4 hours degreasing the engine with a little wire brush to get into all the cracks and shit.
the engine and cover really do look 10x’s better when you look at it from behind the camera. the camera i have really makes everything look like shit.
im happy with it for now and need to concentrate spending the money and time i have left on other things just to get this done by the middle of april

i dont want a shaved valve cover, i like the way it looks stock, i just dont like how the vtec and that are polished, i like it all painted

i ordered the harness just a couple minutes ago and they said ill have it in 4 weeks…perfect
everything is finally starting to fall into place, the only other big thing i need to worry about is having the engine bay painted by a week or two before i get the harness

i put the transmission mount on and the driver side mount on and looked at it, the driver side mount was at a like 30 degree angle pionting towards where the front of the car would be…after thinking and itching my head i finally thought that maybe the post mount that has to be on there was a CRX SiR post mount or a DA Integra Post mount…i found one in my basement from the DA obd0 ls motor i have
i sandblasted it, painted it black and threw it on…now that the driver side mount is all correct and squared away i have to buy a CRX Sir or DA transmission T Bracket
i was stupid and sold the T Bracket i had from the motor in my basement, so im going to have to order a new one from inlinefour.com or dealer, if anyone has a T Bracket from an old integra PM me
the crx is going for fresh paint under the hood next monday…once i get that back i can start reassembly and toss the motor in…all that there is really left to order are the mishimoto radiator hoses that i want and the rest of the lines and fittings for my fuel feed and return
