Ever leave something on your car roof and drive off?

I did just that this morning.

Was too anxious to hit the open/morning roads in the car (to go to work)
and forgot that I had left m precious leather gloves and cell phone on the roof.

Drove about 1KM and pulled over and got out. My cellphone was still on
the roof. It’s one of those old Nokias that are the size of a brick.

The gloves? My bro found one a few yards from my driveway, and the
other a couple hundred feet away.

I’m sure most of you have left coffee/drink cans/bottles…

Ever leave anything else?

lol nice one.
Couple months ago I left a ratchet on my roof. I drove a good 10 minutes but never turned onto another street. First street I turn onto I hear this weird noise and see my ratchet sliding thro the intersection

Pulled over waited till it was clear, and ran out and got it. Funniest shit ever, I was in my cover-alls

Andrew.

pop cans,

cell phones,

smokes,

keys to my house,

license…

but my street is on a hill so when I stop the car at the first stop sign it just slides down to my windshield wipers and gives me a suprise.

average player: I hope you never have to take a baby anywhere.

That is if you have a baby…

My friend left his phone on my trunk once w/o telling me.

Needless to say I got in drove off… we found the phone 20mins later in the middle of an intersection - it was done.

About a month ago I was driving the Ford Excursion stretch limo and I was returning it back to the base, so just before I returned it I took it to a wash and vac place to give the carpets a quick vac because they got dirty. I took them out, vacuumed them and them put them on the roof of the truck so I can go inside and clean the seats etc.
Once I was done I came out put the vacuum hose away, I closed the doors, I got in the truck and drove off. Like 5 minutes down the street this guy pulls next to me and starts honking like a mad man, I put the window down and he tells me to pull over because I might have damaged his car. I was like WTF is this guy talking about.
I pull over and he is like “This carpet was on the roof of yout limo and it flew off then it fell on my hood and windshield and I almost crashed” I was OH FUCK! I got lucky there was no damage on his car at all so I apologized like never before and then I turned around and picked up the carpet after it got ranned over by like 10 cars and a bus.

So that’s my latest “Forgeting things on roof story”.

I left a hamper of clothes on the roof of my car and drove off once. I was on my way to the cottage and I somehow didnt notice it when I got in to leave.

What’s funny is, it stayed on there for about 2 blocks, a week or so later after I thought all of my shit was gone I got a call from an old highschool friend and he said he thinks he found my clothes because he found the hamper and clothes all over the place and happened to notice a shirt that I used to wear all the time during highschool.

I got all my shit back :stuck_out_tongue:

just my smokes… 4 times…

a communications text book.

Nothing important.

My friend lent me about 300cds full of Jungle and DnB. Left it on my roof and the didnt even realize. Went back and not a trace of em anywhere.

I’m so forgetful and leave shit around all the time. Just left my mp3 player inthe gym and someone theifed it. I deserved it.

Ok, now you konw that’s a dead give away.

a pair of 450 dollar oakley Xmetals

Im surprised anyone would want to steal that.[/quote]
