Evo 9 Tech suggestions about warranty

look at it this way… better then crank walk.

TRE is the way to go. I wish I would of went that route rather then have my Shep fall apart.

So, you’re looking for advice, but you’re going to lie to us? That doesn’t help either of us… we’re under the impression that this car hasn’t really been abused all that much, because you came right out and told us so, and yet you’ve been beating the shit out of it?

Smooth.

:lolsign:

The Evo transmissions, more so the 9’s than the 8’s, are about as good as mitsubishi delivers. Which still leaves something to be desired but are a hell of a lot better than 1G or 2G DSM trannies.

I wasnt asking for advice on the clutch dip shit, READING COMPREHENSION!!!

Now here comes the part that I need suggestions on.

Read after that part

It actually helps if you turn the switch on in your brain before shit comes out of your mouth.

Smooth:smash2:

BG Synco shift II. Its mostly when the box is cold, it can be hard to get into or not really the smoothest transition. And yes the car is tracked a few times a year.

Jeller

Hey asshole… I didn’t mention the clutch at all. I mentioned the fact that you lied… and then a couple posts later tried to come clean.

“So, you’re looking for advice, but you’re going to lie to us? That doesn’t help either of us… we’re under the impression that this car hasn’t really been abused all that much, because you came right out and told us so, and yet you’ve been beating the shit out of it?”
– no mention of clutch what so ever. Only calling you out as a liar.

Sounded to me like the dealership was looking for signs of abuse… which you clearly stated you had not abused it. Well then your case is clear… but you lied. You have abused it. You lied. Don’t get all bitchy with me you fucking liar. There are like 2 things I hate in this world and thats theifs and liars. Fuck You. Liar.

I’m talking about the clutch and why it was replaced after 13k miles. I dont need advice on the clutch. When did I ever say I didnt/ did abuse my car. You’re really missing the whole point of this thread. Just go back to the 4x4 redneck forums.

Does your mommy know you’re using those words on the internet?

So you are a liar. I am reading this correctly right? You said you lied, I called you out on it… and you’re still trying to change the subject.

The topic at hand is that the dealership will void your warranty if they see signs of abuse. You clearly stated that you lied about the abuse.

Sorry… my mom doesn’t live in my house.

Go back to not affording repairs and living in Wheatfield… cause thats not redneck. Douche.

Seems to me I called myself out on the ABUSE of the clutch:

Why? For those who were asking why the stock clutch needed to be replaced at 13k miles. I have my reasons for not sharing that information at first. Also if you read a little more you’ll see this, let me quote it for you since reading surly isn’t one of your strong points:

Mind you I said I had 750 miles on the car before I started racing it/ getting the car tuned. That’s about 2-3 months worth of driving for me, so this syncro issue wasn’t caused under stress.
I’m not overly concerned with the abuse on the clutch, that wasn’t the point of this thread. You clearly miss read what I was asking for, everyone else got it but you.

Your manner of speaking, and the way you present yourself, I’m in awe to the fact that you’re a year younger than me. That said; I doubt you would be able to conjure up the courage to converse such language to me one on one. You sir are annoying and insignificant, therefore you will be the first of many immature nyspeeders on my ignore list. You have a potty mouth; clean it up before someone does it for you.

Edit: Thanks for the info theblue. I’ll prob. be going with a TRE transmission, seems like the best solution.

I’ve always farmed this work to TRE. I never had any issues. The other guy’s quality went downhill years ago and luckily I never used him because there are a lot of local guys that aren’t happy with their trannies.

Um are area is really not redneck at all. Our neighbors are close and were right by the blvd so i dont see the redneck part. plus 3 miles away is the hood of niagara falls. i would say suburbia not hick

word

I used to work in Wheatfield… in a corn field.

You’re right… it is a very prosperous city. I currently work 5 minutes outside of Wheatfield, and I’m very familiar with the area. That region is also one of the most racist areas in WNY.

Its “our” area… thats not even a typo. You didn’t even know to use the word “our” instead of “are”… and you’re telling me your area is not redneck.
“We’re” would be another example of the word you were looking for… not “were”…

I’m normally not bothered by you nitro… but this is an example of keeping out of something you have nothing to do with. Unless you’re a liar like jrod, you better get back to your suburban school and read a book on what makes someone a redneck.

I live on 5+ acres, I have a farm to the left and the right of me… there are more cows on my street than people, there are no lines on my road and ditches on both sides. Our mailboxes are at the street because our driveways are 100+ ft long… and no sidewalks. I don’t have a garage, I have a pole barn. I mow over 2 acres of grass, brush hog 3+ and have trees on my lot over 40’ tall. I do not live in suburbia… but that doesn’t make me a redneck.

My comment was directed at the liar in this thread, and him only. It was not meant to offend my non-redneck friends in Wheatfield, or even my redneck friends who aren’t liars like jrod.

I think this thread has detoured too much as it is, so I will let jrod continue to avoid the fact that he lied… and continue to talk about his warranty woes without my intervention. If anyone wants to take this outside (this thread) PM me.
:deadhorse2:

i dont know how he’s ignoring the fact that he lied if he admitted it :smash2:…and i dont see how launching would damage a 5th gear syncro either, so its irrelevant.

 Best move you could have made.

Please talk some sense into this idiot, I surly have given up.
