i have people who don’t like me because i speak my mind, and i have people who respect me because i say what i think to peoples faces and not behind their backs, but i try doing so in a way that gets my point across and still is respecting to that person
with you being the head of your business you really need to be professional 110% of the time, not everything has to do with making money in a business, professionism and respect will go alot farther then just being “the best, or the fastest” honestly with your type of personality your business might go farther with you just being the tuner and “guy” in the back and let shauna handle the rest (she was really nice and pretty damn cool imo)

Superloudsti: Did your car stop running or break something like an axle at the track, requiring a tow, or was the car towed because you were concerned about the way it was “stuttering” as you call it on the secondary rev limiter between shifts?

Wow. I’ve tried to bite my tongue for a long time, and tried not to bash Emery as I have not been personally affected by him, but this draws the line.
I remember when you pulled up to Innovative’s door, asking for Mike to tune your car. I gotta hand it to you, at your manipulation Innovative started on the path to where it is today, so that is one piece of respect. Too bad you did it all for personal gain.
You were able to convince Mike to let you be his second ever employee, and the first paycheck since you were fired from ROC. The next few months were spent with you getting new goodies put on your car at cost and getting free tuning. Oh, and blowing up clutch after clutch due to poor installation and poor driving. Working at Innovative was all about you, and customers were put on the back burner.
At some point, you decided parts at cost, free tuning, and decent pay with me going out of my way to pick you up and drive you to Buffalo (you did pay me for it, which I thank you) wasn’t enough and went REALLY half-ass on customer cars and badmouthing Mike behind his back. You even tried to get me disgruntled and to quit. At some point, you quit and immediately started to bad mouth Innovative. This is around the time when you decided that you could tune cars, more than likely stealing from Innovative’s maps on your own vehicle.
The best part was when cars that you had worked on at Innovative came to your “shop”, and you made fun of your own half-assed work and blamed it on Mike. I also got a good laugh at the botched fuel rail install that resulted in an “alternator fire”.
So, in summation, you learned (stole) to tune from Mike and have been tuning for 3 years, and think you’re better? Worse than think you’re better, you have the stupidity to come out and SAY you’re better.
There is absolutely no reason that STM and Innovative couldn’t coexist peacefully, except the one reason is you, Emery. You are way too much of an asshole.
I need to get my Conquest tuned soon. Now I’m almost positive neither has tuned a quest before. I have PM’ed both parties and I will be seeing Mike for my tune.
I will have to say STM does have some sick stuff in the racing world, but I’m not building a race car.

I don’t miss this sort of thing at all. Emery is like me though, he would rather speak his mind out loud and to your face then say it behind your back. It would seem like the right thing to do and the man thing to do but in reality it gets mixed results at best.

He tuned my Evo that was heavily modified with no knowledge of the parts. he bent over backwards to get it running right. spent more time on it then i think any shop would is just an awesome guy. when i get my next evo he will be my go-to guy.

i hold emery in regards as a friend so maybe thats why i get along and agree with him for the no BS attitude. when i first met him i told him what i wanted and honestly he could have sold me a bunch of crap i didnt need like the last shop i dealt with before moving to new york. he didnt he looked me in the face and said you need X ammount to purchase Y parts to do what you want to do. myself i like the idea that someone will cut the crap out and tell you flat out something works or dosent. but thats how i am too so it works out for me. but i do know that some people dont like that style. if em worked for mike i dont know again i moved here, maybe he learned the basic from mike and then it just clicked in his mind like steven hawking and quantum physics. but in the end records do speak for themselves, look at dave buschur… if you dont know the guy hes a huge dick but in the end his acomplishments speak for themselves. either or i know im happy with where i spent my money, i guess at the end of the day if what ever shop you go to blows your skirt up stay there. lets bring all the hate to track and make it legit to shut everyone up

Really I have never met you and I never will. I put in an inquiry with you about a harness bar for my car so that I would not have to put my stock belts back in my car. I have heard shit talk about you for a WHILE and normally I do not hop on the hate wagon until I have a reason but FUCK MAN you really did yourself in. I will be looking elsewhere rather than help a shifty businessman survive.
