I suppose it’s similar in a few ways, Buschur has attacked other shops in a similar manner. AMS sits back and enjoys the business they receive from Buschur being unprofessional. While Buschur has built quick cars, AMS’s customer interaction and service is leaps and bounds ahead of the shop previously mentioned. That’s based on firsthand accounts from friends who have dealt with both shops in the past. In a very similar fashion to what’s going on here, shops like AMS don’t go to Buschur sponsored events like their annual shootout because of Buschur’s behavior. This year AMS, Magnus, TurboTrix and other shops put on a shootout the same weekend as the Buschur one so people who would rather do just about anything other than go to a Buschur event had a place to race that weekend. Which is also similar because I know a ton of people who would rather :suicide: than do business with STM.
I feel like I should drag “bro” into that statement. This thread is definitely missing some dynoflash Al at this point.

When we finish with the FMIC for the GT-R I was thinking of letting Emery install it. I trust him to do the job right and I know how anal he is with his work. I figure if he can help us out then I’ll work out some promotional thing for him and the shop.
BTW when the hell is the RICER going to be up and running? That car is just nuts! I give him credit… what he did was NOT easy.
Also, we are thinking of Bringing our new Porsche, My BMW and your GT-R to the texas Mile. If you could get the car here we could pay for the transport to texas and all entry fees. Interested? Be a hell of a way to say you have the “fastest GT-R in the world ;)"

The guys who hang out at the shop know what I’m talking about.
I’ve never bought anything super huge from either shop(besides a wideband gauge and some other little crap)… but mike has always had time to answer my questions/concerns etc over AIM/PM’s/Phone and in person without issue.
When I went to STM because I was thinking about buying/building an evo instead of delving back into teh vw/audi world again I sent them an email.
This email consisted of all of my plans, ideas, parts I figured I needed(which I was going to buy alllll through them) and even asked if they had any input on any other parts I’d need, or anything specific I’d need to do to meet my goals(700+whp)…
I got back a 1 sentence email.
soooo… I tried again, answering the question that was asked and asking a few more trying to get more information.
Again, i got back a 1 sentence email.
Emery lost out on over $10,000 in PARTS that I was ready to buy from these two emails.

I doubt Emery is here to make millions a dollars or kiss everyones ass. He rather build race cars and have awesome people in his life. Its cool he speaks his mind, his opinions and thoughts. To me he seems selective in his customer base, but he isnt here trying to please everyone. Rather have his customers become part of a STM family and if NYSPEED (most of you) were to become part of it, it would be one FUCKED up family. NYSPEED is filled with negativity, hatred, and b.s. I bet half of you dont even have work done by Innovative, but just tell everyone to go to Innovative because you dont like Emery.
