listen to the audio in the vid… when he gets on it hes into the gas about 3 seconds before he shifts…2nd was def too low… i however could have gone to 3rd and pulled harder…wtf?
see other thread for reply… thread splits mid comment BLOW
didn’t know there was a vid posted… work blocks all that shit
I can’t even imagine why he would start in 2nd.

Ease of the comments while I be splitting :angry2
“listen to the audio in the vid… when he gets on it hes into the gas about 3 seconds before he shifts…2nd was def too low… i however could have gone to 3rd and pulled harder…wtf?”
just wait till you get a new clutch… the more you race, the more it slips, the less time it will last. save your pennies and get the clutch done already!!! :nod
yeah for the cost of the clutch and install im lookin at ~$900-1k… not looking forward to dropping that kinda coin but whatever.
Poker Run, Having been an identical evo owner of the one you raced and knowing how a 366WHP STI should run, here is my synopsis of the race. It looks like you got out on him b/c he started in too low a gear and shifted literally 1sec after being in power, this is where you gained your 3/4 car. When you were both in power it looks like the evo pulls approx 1/2 car on you, then he shifts again while your in gear and stops pulling…then your clutch stops holding. Would you agree?
when the evo went by me i was at redline in 5th… i felt i proved my point by then. if i went to 3rd gear, i would have pulled 1-1.5 cars off the bat… i didnt. the clutch was straining in both 4th and 5th…basically slipping, but still pulling.
I don’t understand how a clutch can basically be slipping? You know just as well as I do that once a clutch slips even the slightest bit at 366WHP it begins to produce massive amounts of heat and very quickly starts to slip faster. How did you get to 147 MPH on a “slipping” clutch? Sounds like a physics anomaly to me?
my buddies stock s4 slips a tad bit at 3000-3150 if matted then goes back to 3k and pulls.
i will let the people who have rode in my car answer that. my car went by k20 power with the clutch slipping. other people have driven it and felt it. the car still pulls but not nearly as hard.
STi won that race by a pubic hair probably becaue he got a quick jump (R/T? Boost?). The EVO started to pull but very slowly and never made up the distance.
Good run Travis.
New Rule: Post vids of fast cars like K20 or fear ban. Thanks.
k20 on spray would walk afore mentioned evo and sti easily… fucking hondas…
shawn lemme borrow the vr for a single night?
K20 on kero would beat an Enzo from a roll in reverse.
$16K and I’ll have it at your house with a full tank of VP C16.
trade for the sti straight up.
That some shit, before the race its “Im touched that you said i’ll beat it but i’ll just let you guys do the dirty work” and after it’s “my clutch was slipping” “i couldn’t find anything but my stock CBE” “I only shifted once”
INTERNET RACING FTW! :bowdown
Slipping clutch or not, the STi appeared to be ahead but it was a tight race.
I really should. No love for the 3/S. It would be better for you to sell your car and buy this one if you really wanted it. You’d make more money.
:rofl at all the excuses
