so i read an article about 2 months ago stating that the evos from 08 to current will need their clutch slaves replaced and fluids redone. so i called and the service guy said this to me…
“did u read this on the internet? DONT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ ON THE INTERNET!”
i was like wow ok ur a fuck!
so got the letter last week lol.
ok so dropped the car off monday at 11. was done at 4. picked it up at 6:30pm. got in, pushed in the clutch and there was like 0 pressure. im thinking either something is wrong or a lot different. start it and start to drive off and the clutch engagement is literally about 3mm off the floor. odd…
took tuesday off and at about 4pm i got in the car, started it and it wouldnt come out of gear… wtf? so i yank it out of 1st with the clutch all the way in and now it will not go into any other gears. WTF? call them and they tow it back
come to find out they didnt bleed it properly. i was thinking the adjustment was just off but nope lots of air in the line.
got it back today at 11am and the clutch still feels like there is a little less positive pressure than there orignally was but the friction point isnt at the bottom. anything else goes wrong and back she goes.
o and ps: i was telling a friend who works at goldstein the story about me calling and both tech was like that was u!!! and then the guy whom i spoke to on the phone was like oo im sorry man. i then told him that yea it was me that u told was a stupid fuck. jackass!
