I just havent had a chance to take it anywhere this week and I forgot about it earlier when I was out.
I walked by it in the garage and just probed it with my meter.
Got the battery tested, it was junk.
Bought a new gel battery, installed it today.
Cranks, doesnt start.
I sprayed starter fluid in the intake and it popped and backfired a few times but thats it.
Fucking junk.
I don’t even know.
So it just cranks and cranks without starting?
Start checking fuel and spark for starters.
You said it would always start when jumped? Sounds like a bad ground if so.
I dont think its getting fuel and I dont feel like taking the whole quad apart to check for spark. For some reason somebody thought it was a good idea to put the sparkplug under the gas tank which requires taking 90% of the plastic off.
It started a month or so ago when I jumped it. I just dont feel like pushing it across my lawn to my truck.
At this point Im just looking to drop it off somewhere, get it fixed and pick it up when its done. Where’s a good place to take it?
