So my exhaust is finally toast and im gonna step it up a bit, im just wondering how loud the car would be if i eliminate the resonator, and put on a quiet performance muffler, basically i want to have straight through exhaust from cat to muffler?? any help would be great,
You’ll hardly notice no stock resonator vs having one. Ive done it myself and then i came accross a 2.5" in/out cherry bomb muffler for $5 so i bought that and welded it in place where i put the strait pipe where the resonator was. That made the exhaust sound awesome.
If you pick up a muffler id sudjest a glasspacked magnaflow not the XL series if you want quiet.
