Schenectady man stabbed in Albany

ALBANY – A 24-year-old Schenectady man was stabbed in the back twice early today on Sheridan Avenue, said Albany police spokesman Detective James Miller.
Miller said the man, Sean Myers, was attacked outside 10 Sheridan Ave. by an unknown male. Myers was transferred to Albany Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Miller said there was no known motive. The suspect fled the scene and the investigation is ongoing. – Lauren Stanforth

I went to bishop maginn (off morton ave) and in my freshman year I got knocked in the jaw by a 6’+ black kid (mind you I was a 5’2’’ fat white kid) on a attempted robbery where I wouldnt give up shit.
That sucks dude. Albany sure aint what it used to be… thats for sure! Used to be fun going down there with some buddies and havin a few drinks, now ya gotta worry about getting killed everytime ya go. I really think this was my last trip there, have too much to risk now with trying to get my career among other things.
