Yeah, the big advantageous being that I don’t think there is such a thing as a 360 mod chip. I know for a fact there is no such thing for the LiteOn drive.
Let me make this clear…
THERE IS NO CURRENT WAY TO PLAY BURNED GAMES ON A 360 WITH A LITEON DRIVE.
You can go through a complicated procedure to pull the keys from the liteon drive and then clone them onto a different hackable drive and put that in the 360 or you can wait and hope they find a way to flash the liteon drive. That’s it. That’s your options for playing backups on a 360 with a liteon drive. No mod chip, no soldering routine, nada. The drive simply can’t be hacked (currently).
why i play all my backups on live, just games that are released 3 weeks early like saints row 2, which wont even let u on live. Its safe most all games are stealth

Got a microsoft refurbished unit from that place posted with the 20GBs really cheap. Performed initial setup, fired up Mass Effect, took a healthy shit, came back to a frozen start screen it was done. Shame too because it had a Samsung drive. Oh well it will be sorted by the end of the day.
