Fallout 3 XBOX 360

played for about 5-6 hours yesterday and feel that I haven’t even really started it yet.

This game is EPIC in every way. I can easily see this taking over 100 hours to complete if you’re not rushing through it. Screenshots don’t do it justice at all either, most of the textures look really ugly as well as shadows and lighting, but actually in the game, it looks a shit load better.

This effing game is difficult though. You don’t get a lot of ammo and your accuracy sucks balls (initially)… can’t count the amount of times I was killed by some random mutant.

Have you done the mission where you have to find that chicks dead family? I searched the areas that the old guy told me to and have no idea what I’m supposed to do next.

No Xbox until the 31st. This makes me sad… :frowning:

That’s only 2 days! =P And you’ll have all weekend to play!

Fuzzy you are the only other fallout veteran on the forum, I wish you were caught up so I could discuss the leetness of the BOS. :frowning:

go to the station closest to arefu(the town the old sheriff guy was guarding) it is a little north eastish. There is a guy down there looking for sugar bombs to create drugs, the entrance is in his back room on the ground near some radioactive barrels.

I know exactly where you’re talking about. Thanks for the heads up… I’ll check that out

sureshot, your pms are full

Sorry about that.

Also, that area that JCuz described did not have “The Family” in it for me

the tunnel takes you further east, you will eventually get to them. The other method is to travel above ground east to the wrecked train station and enter from there, it is closer to their hide out, but then you miss out on dungeon crawling.

I don’t know how I missed them then, I thought I cleared that area out well. I even came out on the other side, where the deathclaw attacks you

JCuz how many hours have you put it?

i put in around 22 and finished the game, but I have a save before the end that i want to go back to, there is a lot more to do

found this during my random internet wanderings at work.

you sir, rule  Although I don’t know if I want to use a guide the first time though it. decisions decisions

edit: all the images past the first page are blacked out

They were viewable for me… but I didn’t look too closely… however all it did was layout how to complete the main mission.

Using a guide the first time through really disenchants a game like this. Maybe the second time through I’d consider it.

I want to create a INT 1 character, apparently it’s hilarious

lol he/she maintains the baby gurgle sounds

lol can it even talk?

lol I probably should of punctuated that with a question mark. I have no idea, just guessing.

However, I will have to try this after school tonight

ha, in the older ones I heard that there were characters you could only comunicate with if your INT was really low. Guides should def not be used the first time through, but the link at least could help people just getting started and have no idea where to go.

Only retarded characters (I think there was maybe 2 total lol), if there is a character that is mentally retarded there might be a chance it works here as well. But having a low INT hurts a lot late in the game as you can’t develop skills quickly, do quests, or use books in most cases. Pretty much a grind/destroy everything path really.

Well, yeah. =)

I’m still curious to find out what happens… but if I accidentally overwrite my current char I’ll be pissed off.

create a new profile on live and try it on that (just in case)
