Short of using a mini-nuke and missle launchers, I kept getting wrecked in an undisclosed raider base. Oh well, I’ll turn it back on after the baseball game =p
edit: found the Family in the aforementioned location, finished the whole mission without any violence.

If I had one on my tail I’d just run around till there were multiple ones… and then shoot their antenna untill one frenzied. Or if I had to fight, I’d bait one into fire breating and then I’d try and run around behind them and open the pwn.
Also, I was in the fireant cave around 3am, I was tired and not really with it… when the queen dropped in out of nowhere I nearly shit lol :tdown:

I’m up to 30 hours, although yesterday I did a pretty large part of the main quest ( or so I feel. ) I’m okay with it though, it wasn’t forced and felt like a decent time to make some headway.
Still no dog though.

fire ants were jerks, you had to shoot them from far enough away to make your accuracy crappy and could not melee them. I played a goody two shoes and did not harm the queen, next time around I am going to nuke that slut. Anyone choose to activate the bomb in megaton, does it actually blow up the whole town?

this game on the 360 is absolutely amazing.
i played it for about 4 hours last night and was blown away
just a heads up too, if you grab the PC version, it has built in 360 contoller support if you dont want to use the keyboard and mouse. On top of that, I read a review that said if you login to windows live via the game, using your XBOX live account, it will give you the appropreate achievements for it.
That was the only thing I regretted about not grabbing the 360 version (achievement whore)

yeah you get a sweet cinematic of the town nuking itself. everything gets wiped ( including a good amount of quests ). i will nuke it my next playthrough when i play a serial killer
also if you havent, sneak up on someone, pick pocket, and put a frag gren in their inventory

hahaha you guys are hilarious! Any character can win! ( although the fireants are fucking annoying ) Just get them in a pack and shoot antenna till they attack each other!

speaking of which, I took your advice and started the book quest. When I got to the supermarket, I got ambushed inside the place by like 3 raiders. I ran like hell around a corner and waited for them with the sawed off shotgun. As soon as they poked their head around the corner, with the assist of VATS, one shot took each of their heads off lol

If I remember it keeps telling to hit RB or somthing but nothing ever happens.
it will only work if you have an enemy within your field of vision. If he’s off to the side of you, it wont do anything
