Farewell 91 RX7...

Sadly, these are the first and last photos of the car before the new owner took it away. I really liked this car a lot, and am thrilled I got to own a rotary car, as I always wanted an RX7. My good friend who bought it from me has wanted to buy it ever since I had first gotten it, and I’m stoked to pass the torch on to him and share the enthusiasm. Plans (of which I’ve influenced) are very simple which include tires, KYB AGX’s, Tein S. Techs, and a single tip catless exhaust. He loves it, and I’m happy to get back to my roots with my new daily driver, of which I’ll post some shots of in the coming week. The last look before it left my driveway (it cleaned up really well with a lot of rubbing, cleaning, waxing, shampooing, detailing, brush touching…).

so you’re going to buy my S now, right?

Ha, I’d love to, but I’m waiting until the spring before I buy another car.

but that doesn’t help me :frowning:

haha congrats on sale even though its bitter sweet.

That is NOT the same car…wow.

I did the best I could…it was a lot of work, but it came out pretty damn decent. I kind of miss it already, but I will have access to drive it anytime I want, and I’ll be storing it for him in my garage this winter, so it’s almost like it’s never going away at all, haha.

Cant escape it lol…NEW SIG time!

Updated, haha.

My god. That wheel gap in the rear is horrendus! I can’t believe they came factory like that, lol.

Oh well, on to bigger and better things!
Stepping back into the honda world again?

The wheel gap only looks so bad bec. of how tiny the tires are. Wit a 50 series or so in the back, it aint too bad. As t was my daily driver, I wanted a comfortable ride and it gave all of it.

And I bought another MR2 for now, as my new daily driver. Its a red 1993, totally stock, which I love. I’ll most likely sell it in the spring of 2009, and then buy an S2000.

Wow, that cleaned up really nicely.

 Congrats. As much as I dislike rotories (sp?) that was a nice, very clean car.

I think from here on out you should always own a Honda, to keep from feeling empty inside LOL.

Yeah Mike, it was fun, and thanks again for the RX7 radio surround! And yeah, I am def. feeling like I’m missing something without a Honda in the line-up…

mr2 looked very nice and clean the other night!!!

that brings back memories…

+1

Glad it found a good home!

That was a great car Joe and fun to drive, sad to see it go. Glad it went to someone who is going to take care of it. Also, I reallt like those rims on there, just need the right size tires…

Haha for real, I told him when those rubber bands go out back, we’re going to need to stuff at least some 245/45’s to fill that gap, haha.
