need to roll my fenders, car is too high right now and the lip on the fenders still rubs when going over bumps. I kind of wanna use the bat or mallet with heat gun since im gettting my car painted over the winter anyway’s.

And do you guys remove ur fender liners, my fronts rub when i make full out turns.

just dont get carried away and warp the quaterpanel
I’ve rocked the ghettobat method, just don’t push down too much or you’ll end up with a pull and chipped paint.
Also have someone sitting passenger side when you roll those fenders, I found it did help.

yea got the xd9’s from samson. great guy. I dont know about clean i think its the dirtiest its been in a while.
Ok i just rolled and pulled my fenders and didnt damage the paint at all. What u do is get a fender roller (bing rents his ) grab ur trusty heat gun and hold it about 5-6inches away from the fender. Go back and forth till its a littke slightly hotter them warm to the touch and start rolling. Ull have to do this a few times to get what u want but if u need a flare u will need more heat. All in all took me about an hr to do each side. Hope this helps u out.
fender roller with a heat gun is the best method.
Although i did my fronts with a mallet, mostly cuz my front fenders are shit, so i didn’t care.
i just finished doing one of the rears with a heat gun and mallet. turned out okay other then the part that had rust on it. But im not too worried as i said before i needed to get this shit fixed when i get it painted anyways. Ill either try the next side tomorrow or just get it done at a shop cause i think i need a pull too.
