Not really, its a waste of time. Police take care of their own, as mentioned before. My car was hit by a cop car while legally parked, here it is nearly a year later, and I’m still out the $5,500 worth of damage to my car. Here’s the kicker, since my car was unable to move without a tow truck, and I had an exam the next day (happened at night), I left it on the curb/grass in front of my house and got a $125 parking ticket from the same cops who documented the hit the night before.
If a cop took that report- it would end up in the trash next to him when he walks out the door. Cops are like a fraternity- if one fucks up, the others cover.
