you need to roll into there with a 2x4 and take care of yo business
yupp They sat me down and said sign termination papers… I said thats bullshit… i didnt sign them… The thing I really dont want to do is Take this to court… I have so much dirt on my boss. like things that he told me is ok… like fradualent things i cant say… but still not sure what to do?
yupp sure was me.
when fired you can still collect. as long as you did your job the best you could, showed up on time and didnt steal. the boss has to show proof of how you didnt do your job right. i had a boss recently fight me on my unemployment, i won cause boss couldnt prove a solid reason for my departure, and of course having solid facts in the company policy that he wrote but didnt realize that was in there when he was bullshitting the referee about shti being in there.
so you should easily be able to collect it. stand by your guns on this one, and look at this way with you not currently working you dont have to worry about being late to work cause the celica broke down
its going to break after I run you over with it and beat you with the broken axle.
Sorry to here that. I know the feeling.
The only way you can’t collect is “willfull misconduct” which isn’t the case here.
Guy at the unemployment office said they only way Im not going to get it is if they fight for me not to get it.
i’ve been holding back… due to dudes situation… he should go union… and never have to work …i mean… worry about work again…
what really sucks is the only union allowed in the cable company that will remain nameless… is the Installers… other than that everyone else is non union…so its an at state firing.
I’ve never heard of a union sales job…
It sounds to me like you were making more money than they wanted to pay you. As much as it sucks right now, being fired and all, you have to understand that you making $50k at age 18, with no college degree, was insane. That was a HUGE upside to free market capitalism, and right now you are experiencing the downside. Otherwise we’d all make the same money, and nobody would have any incentive to do any work. As you may know, that didn’t work out so well for the Russians.
Good luck though.
Sometimes I swear I’d be better off on unemployment than actually working. When I add up all I spend on gas, owning/operating/maintaining a vehicle, clothes, dry-cleaning, lunch, etc, I think I’m actually further behind working. I think I’m trying to get fired sub-consciously.
:wackit:
welcome to the real world buddy…the old slogan “it doens’t matter who you know, it’s whos’ ass you kiss”.
just bustin balls. As for the union thing…look what the unions did to the the steel city…drove them all out, and why is that? you had unionized janitors pushing brooms for 10 bucks an hour in the early 80’s…that’s a huge amount of money for pushing a broom!
so basically all the steel mills packed up all their shit and moved to another state, country, ect so get away from unions where they could pay their employees less money and do the same work!
so it’s a double edged sword pretty much.
You’re half right…
The Unions drove out the volkswagon plant…
But lack of steel use / demand drove the Steel mills out…and the fack that steel could be produced in China for far less dollars…
Even if they fight, it still not willfull misconduct. I’ve been there!
It was the fact that inflated wages were inflating the price of steel that killed the industry, steel is still widely used. Tariffs can only hold back the economic tides for so long, sort of like New Orleans, it’s just a matter of time, and a real waste of money to try to stop it.
Say what you want I really worked for it though… and I hustled everyday of my life with this job. I worked harder than alot of people and I just plain hustled and thats why I was one of the best in my office. I made 50k a year at 18 yes it was very nice I cant really complain too much.
well make your $ again and call it a day!!! :dunno:
I have to go down to the verizon office on tuesday for testing… trying to get a job there now… It shouldnt be that hard. Its just so hard when I really liked the job I was working.
when i took the test, there was 25-30 people and only 8 of us passed. i’m sure it’s not the same as the sales test though
