For those of you who are photographers, I need your opinion on something.
A friend of mine mentioned the “Lightsphere Collapsible” (link) and I saw some of his shots and they looked good.
Do you guys use diffusers? If so, which one(s)? I have an 430EX II flash unit and I could use a diffuser because some of my ceremony pics from my last wedding weren’t that great (in doors with low lighting).

do you bounce the flash off the ceiling?
i get by using that method, but I don’t shoot indoor very often
I did some off the ceiling stuff but it had mixed results for me.
I use bounce as much as possible. I also have the Gary Fong Light Sphere. It works very well.
all depends on what kind of mood you want and how low the ceiling is … you can bounce off a 50ft ceiling i have seen it done before … you can also buy a mini soft box for the top of the flash … thats the way ill be going next wedding i do

You can borrow mine if you’d like to try it out. It works well but I rarely use it (indoor events) so I can’t say i have a ton of experience with it. It’s reviewed as one of the best ones, so I bought it.
I use the flash on top of the camera. It fires when I press the shutter button. Pretty neat

I’ll keep that offer in mind. Thanks man. I got that softbox thing, so we’ll see how it works at the next wedding I have on June 24th. Although that hall might be different, but I have a 3rd wedding the following weekend so maybe I’ll get to play with it more there.
