Flight Lessons

I’ve only flown the small 1 a few times in the last month, look for the new one, white with a red stripe, flown it almost every day!

Yep, figured that was the new one. It was the only plane I ever “flew” briefly, back when I was 12. I really need to get over to check it out soon. Hell, I can walk there.

Is there a big demand on NYSpeed for flights? I hadn’t thought to cross worlds until today really, just did a search on a whim, but I would also be willing to give “discovery” flights. I am not an instructor so I can’t “teach” in the legal FAA sense (meaning you can’t log it as a training flight) but I can allow people to do a little flying from the right seat. i have access to 4 planes, a 172, a Piper Cherokee 140 (my favorite and the one I usually fly) and 2 Piper Archers (slightly bigger, fancier Cherokee). Pretty cheap too, I can only charge people their share, so that works out to about $40 an hour (basically I take care of the plane rental, and insurance, you refill the tanks)

n20junkie, still waiting for my Phenom ride! (worlds colliding)

My buddy Mike flies planes. He is on here but doesn’t come on often so I’ll run it by him. I’ll pay extra if you will let me jump out of it with a rig on

Edit- Just noticed this is a 172, I got spoiled with the Caravan and Otter when I was in Cali. Awesome how large they are and how fast they get to altitude.

Theres a decent market for discovery flights around wny, however they are supposed to be done by a CFI. Any other advertising is for scenic flying, with requires a permit, drug testing, a com license, kind of like getting a part 135 charter permit. Hence why even my “scenic flights” have to be discovery flights. I’ve done scenics a few times before my cfi, but I had my COM license and it was just word of mouth family and friends.
