not me. I’ve been considering buying a light sport aircraft called a challenger, would anyone here be interested in taking lessons? I haven’t worked out the math, but it would be between 80-100 plane, fuel and instruction. Everythings all set up at akron for me to start instructing in a 172, roughly 100/hr for plane, includes gas and insurance, and 40/hr for instructor (me). Let me know if your interested!

Do you by chance know what the vision requirments are if I wanted to get my licence?
20/20 corrected, so glasses or contacts are allowed, 3rd class medical , thats also needed to solo.
if i had the money i would totally hit this up. my grandpa has a 4 seater c-172 that i go up with him all the time out of lancaster and ive been looking into taking lessons even tho i can pretty much fly as it is but ill have to keep this in mind when i have the moneys.
I never took off or landed but I have controlled a plane in the air for a few minutes and it is a real blast. If I ever make decent money, flying will definitely be a hobby of mine.
I will tell my dad, he has his private licence but hasn’t been up in 20 years.
Some refreshing might help him out.

I trained at Akron in the Warrior…it’s currently the only plane I’m checked out to fly in. It’s been about 7 months since the last time I’ve been up…PM me what you think it would take to get back up and going. Thanks!

I’m not interested in getting my license…too much time and $ needed for that, but I may take you up on this just for a fun time.
Maybe I’ll buy a car out of state and hop a lil flight out there. 
That wouldn’t be the first time I took a person to another city/state to pick up a car!

We got a 4 seat plane now! Very excited about that, can go faster, load it up with more friends, camping gear, etc, and now its roomier for teaching and can take larger students. Still have the 2 seater as well, but gotta love the new Cessna 172. Contact me for more info on learning to fly
