Seriously BAS. I know what you mean , but what if the two things weren’t mutually exclusive?
What if $4-500cdn was all that it took to have the same as what spearco would try to sell for 6-700?
Seriously, people wouldn’t know the difference anyway. Thats why marketing is important.
Well I tried to educate people, give them the other side to the ‘sales pitch’ and almost got banned for it. Was berated for even trying to do it by the people selling the product, even had my business threatened to be destroyed. IT’s hard to ‘educate’ when the very people selling here are also the ones controlling the flow of information without morally integrity.
Not the point, most people will buy the cheapest one they can find, period… regardless of style, shape and fit. They choose not to listen or simply don’t care, allot of people just what a huge IC for the sake of having a huge IC regardless of the spanking they would take by someone with a ‘tuned’ turbo IC match. All you can do is try to inform these people about the correlation between the turbo and the IC… making the right match up.
world is full of talkers, its just an advantage for those of us who listen to what others have to say, those who argue they miss out, those who listen and derive they excell, BAS is correct, ADAM is correct in his own way, every goal is to meet a specific expectation, for a specific application, so if your poor and not looking to race, buy a ‘average-joe’ IC and laugh it off, if your seriously into racing, you should know that you need money, than match all your goods etc, if your jst building a weekender put some time and thought into and do things right, its all your choice in the end imo, erad this entire thread and you will see why people have different points of view, and choose your option… imo… peace

thank you and have a nice day
I listen to you retailers. It’s my job.
I also listen to the end user. If a guy is quibbling about getting the absolutely cheapest IC…then he’s likely not the target audience as he will also have skimped on the turbo, the mani, etc…
Same with the guy who just has too much money and just bolts stuff up. But the guy who is taking the time to ask, consider and design his own set-up is likely to pick the best part that he can afford. Based on needs and technical merit. THIS is my target market.
Dude your a bolt on reseller, your ‘target market’ is anyone with the cash to buy a PnP product. Thier is very little room for ‘custom fitting/design’ in the bolt on world, so I have no clue what your trying to emphasize…
here’s some food for thought; i have a smaller GT2530 turbo and boost to about 13psi daily. i have a greddy r-spl type 6 fmic. it is possibly the smallest FMIC you’ll ever see, next to the Apexi, at 10"X10"X4" in dimensions.
my friends bug me all the time about my mini-me, interfooler, etc. but it works excellently. i have response just like stock and it’s never heatsoaked. my car is a daily driver, and i love this setup. if you don’t plan on running big HP on the street, do you really need a 24x8x3 710cfm/500hp @ 1psi drop FMIC? i decided i didn’t, and sold my spearco.
