i think cars in the early 90s were built safer even without the airbag bollocks. i flipped an early 90s corolla at abt 170kph and landed on the roof. walked away with no scratches on me, car was also repaired but would’ve been considered a write-off here. Many newer cars gets totaled by fender benders, and even with airbags leaves occupants injured, in some cases by the airbags only.
