I got off the track when I saw them walk up to the marshall.
No thanks!

LOL…I had concerns about them being there as well, but after talking to John the manager and voicing my concerns he assured me they were there on their own accord as opposed to being sent by the higher ups. I hear what you’re saying though….Can’t forget Cayuga
haha yeah I mentioned it … took me a while to find out they were there just for kicks (or so they say)
I was in the middle of a conversation when they rolled up…stopped talking and removed my plates quicktime.
DUNNVILLE - CIRCUIT - Sep 16 2007
We had a blast testing our latest car at the track… She’s really built for drift… we weren’t trying to drift… honest…
Met a lot of cool guys… thanks for letting us come out, hope to do another event… Thanks! Mitch
^ who’s zenki turned kouki?
that would be conky (John)
that thing is a beast, full s15 driveline + gt2871r .64 + 5spd
haha sorry blackflagged that one drift i didnt do on accident… i admit it but i was runnin 245 tires and 0 dampening and it still kicks out alot…the cars made to slide not grip haha… it was definitely fun gripping learning the lines
i only went off once and that was when my bumper BROKE and that was not drifting but gripping and it understeered on the double turn on the 5th turn. runoff was not forgiving
hey guys, just wanted to say thanks for making me feel welcome at the track day. I was Jim’s ride-along and tire-hauler. I assume it was 2Gmoney that had the GTR with the chrome enkei’s… when you and jim were dueling it out, that was pretty sick, just watching you slingshot out of the corners… we were close enough, you could actually see the wheels slipping and grabbing as the diffs pushed you through the corner. Total coolness. I don’t think jim’s video turned out though, unfortunately. With any luck i’ll be starting my own longterm FD project in the spring. I’ll definitely be enlisting Jim’s help.
I’ve got 3 films to send into Black’s, and i’m going to get digital copies on discs, so i’ll upload them to this thread when i get them back.
Matt
Thanks man, you too!
It was a blast.
Thanks to Mark, Gonad, John, and everyone else who made this happen.
Cheers.
Alright, so someone rented a helmet at Dunnville but forgot to return it. Was it anyone here?

thanks to fobwall for holding a great track day. wish my car held out a little longer so i could run all day. gotta bring extra pads next time :). i also want to thank joe, green corolla, for showing me some correct lines to take on the track. i realized you don’t have to fight this track to get around it. great day and learned alot.
peace
i believe tim (average player) rented a helmet
and I believe Mike (silver s2000) also rented a helmet.
mark,
i talked to my mechanics and they are down with getting some customers and themselfs to come to the ext grip day with porsches, ferrari’s and other cool cars.
and you guys forgot to mention not to use your ebrake after tracking your car.
yea i left mine on the front desk where i rented it from… bright and white…
left around 545-630.
kinda sick from daves joy ride with me flying around.
^^^I saw Tim do it so I’m gonna have to go with the S2000 driver.
Damn Honda guys always with shady movements.
Hey check out my S14 hunting the Skylines and then Civic battle action!!
I talked to the s2000 driver, Mike, but he said he returned it. Anyone else notice who rented one?
Jon (Conky), I meant to ask you but I forgot. I’m not sure if you pay attention to your speeds at all but do you have any idea approx what speed you carry through the big sweeper before the front straight?
Also curious what you hit in the straight before you need to start braking… ?
You dialed in those skylines in seconds, that was insane.
