I must be ignorant to what is going on here. My comments about calling the cops, suing and pressing charges would be for someone pulling a gun, someone following me to my home, or someone physically assaulting me. Which my entire argument here is this. If everyone took pride in their actions, and thought about others a bit more prior to taking action, the incidents would be far less. Am I not right??? So with that being said wouldn’t it be safe to say far less road rage by apparently people like me would be out there. Am I not right again??? So why is it that wrong to, when given the chance, hammer home the point that someone made some mistakes way back on assumption #1(taking pride and thinking about others) so well that it impacts them deep in their brain and they cut the bullshit so it doesn’t happen or at the very least doesn’t happen as much???
People function on forces of habit. Rarely do they change their ways without that habit being broken somehow. (like the lady who cant eat and drive safely every morning I threw the sticky bun at) People do illegal shit all day long; no signals, rolling stop signs, charging lights, blowing red lights, drinking and driving, etc. The police can only see so much, and from that only seem to take care of a fraction of what they see. and of that fraction of the people getting tickets and arrested those people actually STOP doing what they got in trouble for, or again at least remember it in the back of their head next time they try shit again. Its up to you, me, your mother, your grandfather, your preacher (ME! lol) to start standing up, how ever force full its up to you I guess.

On the brighter note. Only 1 lady doing 31 in a 45 for 3 miles then she apparently didnt understand what a redlight means, she never backed off, just blew right through it. Luckily nobody was waiting to go through the green light. And only one DPW retard working on the overpass by clinton ave decided it was time to pull the steak truck with all the tools out in front of the guy ahead of me, me and 10 other cars doing 40 mph just as we all dive bomb off the 787 ramp for downtown albany… I was hard on the brakes, and totally surprised we all didn’t accordion up right there.
so all in all, it was a decent commute. I didnt even bother throwing anything at them. you all would be proud.
I’ve noticed something even more annoying than the usual people driving around niskayuna/schenectady with their highbeams on. People driving around WITHOUT THEIR HEADLIGHTS ON. Sometimes they have their foglights on and their low beams off, but many times I’ve seen just the parking lights. Times ranged anywhere from 8pm when I was leaving work (starting to get dark), 8pm during pouring rain (on a gray car, didn’t see it until I was about 60 feet away), to my favorite one I saw, 12:15am on the crosstown.
The capitol ragion does need a visit from darwin. I’ve never been an especially patient person, but I’m either just a whole lot more observant of the stupidity that surrounds me, or its gotten worse in the last year or so.

I honestly think that if the law enforcement started cracking down on this shit more things would change. If someone got home and at the dinner table brought up how they got pulled over for driving in the passing lane and got a 2 point violation, the first thing to come up would probably be “Whatttt! you can get a ticket for that!?!?!” and then hopefully the next thing will be “YEAH apparently so, we should pay attention more to how we are driving everyday I guess.” SIMPLE AS THAT.

I saw her coming and just moved over into the rumble strips just enough that she couldnt get between me and the guardrail if she tried… she had 2 small kids in the car too, real safe lady… and shed flipping out, trowing her hands all over, yelling and shit… then pulled back in line because she knew she was dooped by derp. she tried it one more time 5 mins later, and I got her again… then we finally got to the exit ramp and she went by and gave me the finger and was yelling at me again… I smiled and blew her a kiss! LOL :rofl Bitch woulda gotten arrested for endangering the welfare of a child if she hit someone or got caught driving on the shoulder like that. But dumb people dont think that far ahead I guess.

Situation sitting in daytona traffic waiting for shit to clear up I go to move forward as the car in front of me did…as I pull forward car behind me does too…well guess what asshole behind me decides to to pay attention to how far I moved up and decides to check his phone same time…well guess what my bike looked like…good thing I didn’t get hurt…so now I will split traffic and keep moving cause the dumb ass car drivers don’t pay attention and im not letting it happen again…lucky once not chancing twice…I don’t do it reckless but im not sitting and waiting…
As for the swerving at me part…please let someone do it again…last time I had a field day and def wont be afraid to do it again…swerving at bikes no matter how mad u are is stupid…bottom line

stop and go, like you were in what 0-15mph? So you were stopped and some ignorant fool was going to rear end the car ahead of him, but you were in the middle and got smooshed. You didn’t say anything about paying attention yourself… so I assume you are sitting there and all of a sudden BAM, and you fall off and the guy stops. Because if i was in your shoes watching my rear view like a hawk, I would have said this dude isnt going to stop… and rev the shit out of the bike since yours are loud as hell, to get his attention. Most would say hit the horn, but we all know the horn sucks on bikes.
Anyways thats not really my point. My point is this. Well 2 points of logic. First, what do you do at lights??? Do you just punch it and pass the car and blow the light? NOOOO. You come up behind and stop, just like you did in the stop and go incident. Except now you are at way more of a risk because of the speeds going on behind you… 30,35,45,50,55. So why are you worried about stop and go at a snails pace, enough that you will recklessly ride to “get away”? Seems backwards almost.
Second point. You were unlucky to find the ONE retard who cant stop and go, in 17 years of riding. While you are in the stop and go, how many idiots saw the lane next to them doing .5mph more than the lane they are stuck in and cant think past the obvious and think they need to switch lanes and get into the magically faster lane??? Because I see that shit happen every 20 seconds or so sitting in stop and go, and then laugh when you roll right by them because 9 times out of 10 the land they just bailed on picks up speed and goes right past the impatient bastard. Sooo… if there is one idiot who rear ends someone in stop and go, VS hundreds of “ohhh that lane is open for an extra 50 feet, MUST GO NOWWWWW” lane switchers… by splitting lanes around those idiots, you are putting yourself at MORE of a risk, than just sitting there and going with the flow.

Again, at the “I will hit you” comment I made. Dont take it out of context and think that I swerve at all the riders I see around me doing things I don’t agree on. No way is that the case that’s beyond KK insanity. Honestly my comment was more of an internet tough guy thing because i was pissed at their stupidity, and the rest of the mass stupidity i had to drive around in the rest of my commute that day. I have no problem admitting it. BUT if someone chooses to do something like what i said while some rider or driver is buzzing down the shoulder or splitting lanes in stop and go, and opens a door, moves over accidentally or on purpose the rider and driver is still at fault and was dealt a hefty lesson. My father was going to the cape on his bike with my mom on the back and a few other friends riding when he was young. It backs up big time there all the time and his friends decided to ride the shoulder, so he “had” to follow. some guy opened the door a few cars ahead of the first rider and sent him off the road, the guy in the car had to go piss in the woods. nobody went down, but that’s all it took to make my father and the rest of the guys move back into traffic and wait like the rest of the thousand people and not do that again.
