So we’re now defending the cougars of Buffalo from the Eiffel tower…?

Getting back to buffalo hate.
I have a hard time defending buffalo. The older generation has grown up with buffalo being a shit hole. That will take at least a generation or two to turn around.
If they can actually make parents give a damn about properly educationg their children that is.
Since I have started paying attention, parts of buffalo seem to be on the right track, but the less desirables have also found ways to move out of buffalo and into the burbs and believe it or not, those cities and towns are not getting better for some reason.
I usually take a lunch time bike ride through buffalo. It is still strange to me that I get to see $0-$15,000 housing, run down abandoned business, and $900,000 mansions all in a 1 hour bike ride.
I am also very thankful that some of the areas I ride through are not that crowded @ 12:00.
Buffalo has a lot to offer if people choose to look for it.
There are very few areas of the city I would even think of living. Your environment plays a huge role in your success.
I hate subjecting my kids to those with lifestyles I abhor so much. I am getting really opinionated in my old age and a nice Texas job sounds nice in theory.
