I am lucky to have the job that I have in this city, I just wish we had a better nightlife, for partiers, not that there’s anything wrong with Elmwood or Allen town, just not for me, that’s why I’m flying once or twice a month to take long weekends to party in other cities, but I’m sure as I get older and feel like settling down I’ll stop caring about it.

As far as living here, I could see myself here for life, but I could also see myself leaving. I think the cost of living here is cheaper than most of the big cities I enjoy partying in. Eh, I can take or leave Buffalo, I’m a burbs guy anyways, I enjoy having a big garage and off street parking.

i’ve been to plenty of cities across the US and i would tend to agree with the assertion earlier that visiting somewhere is different than living there. being someplace for a few days, weeks or even a year is different than living there for an extended period of time. once you are really living there you get tuned into all of the issues, problems, gripes, etc that come with every place.

i lived in rome for 6 months and by the end of it i was complaining about the bus service, trash in the streets and homeless gypsies…

i have never lived in the city of buffalo, have worked in the city, but much of my family lives/lived in the city and i always have enjoyed my time spent there. i’m happy to be a proponent for buffalo when the opportunity arises although its unlikely i would ever live in a large city…it just isn’t for me…just like living on a cul-de-sac isn’t for me either.
