not to go OT but the 4G63 has made about the same numbers on stock bottom ends as well…
there are stock 4G63 blocks putting out over 1000hp and they can handle block splitting HP on a 302 with nothing more than a good head gasket and ARP head studs. :slap:

I am fully aware of the capabilities of the 4g63. It is a matter of preferance. I have heard more people have issues with the DSM engine than with the SR20. Both are decent engines.
