We recently pitted the Ford Fiesta ST against the Subaru BRZ. They technically share the same price point in the marketplace, and they are targeted at similar audiences. The only question left is, what one do you think is better?
Your blog can suck my fucking cock. Merry Christmas
Thanks!
What’s the Evo putting to the ground? I see it often, and I’ve wondered.
675-750 depending on the tune
That’s very impressive. You should ask Drive for a feature on their YouTube channel, haha. Their Tuned show would love it.
I’m sorry to be so rude on a holiday, but you are really stretching it thin by comparing the cars, as evidence that you had to compare window size. Just because they are in the same price range doesn’t mean that they are cross shopped. If you had a minimum character count that you had to reach, then disregard this comment.
to answer your question, brz.
With them parked next to each other its like comparing mommy’s minivan to a Corvette as far as looks go
pardon my ignorance… but how is a over priced FWD commuter car compare to a cheap entry level rwd sports coupe? Price point is never a valid point to me when it comes to comparing cars. If it was why not toss a Camery or a F150 in the mix too? And who would be the “target audience”, because i know a 19 year old girl who doesn’t know what a BRZ is who just bought a Fiesta to drive to work and back. And I thought the the target audience for the BRZ is someone who hopefully understands that a little too much gas through a turn it would put ya ass end first into the cabbage, whereas the target audience for the Fiesta probably has a hard time parking in a crowded mall.
Adam has a fiesta, so they must be gay.
Brz plz. Fiesta is too tiny for having 5 doors.
based on looks alone i’d choose the brz. I just cannot get behind the ford, it looks like a Honda fit or some other econobox
looks like a slightly overweight prius that had a slow frontal impact that smooshed its face in a little bit.
honestly, I think the new prius looks BETTER than that ford mexican party
It’s dumb that Ford even has the fiesta ST. It’s almost the same price as the focus ST and the focus looks 100x better and has much more room and power…
and this is why i will never leave this forum. we might be assholes but at least we are honest assholes.
something else to point out is that you say the brz would suck for luggage capacity yet they designed it to make sure with the rear seats that it could carry 4 wheels and a jack so i would say its pretty good in that aspect, even when i finally saw it in person i was impressed with the trunk, but i might be a little skewed in that respect having my recent cars being a miata, rx7 and mr2. oh and i think there is plenty of luggage capacity in my miata, when i need it i throw the luggage rack on lol.
I flew to Milwaukee with another member to pick up his brz last year and we split the driving at over 8+ hours each. It was by far the most fun, comfortable and economical road trip car I’ve ever been in and wouldn’t hesitate to take that car coast to coast. I would bet money that the fiesta would start to get uncomfortable and tiring after a few hours easily.
truth. you even delivered me a set of 4 rims and tires in the Miata. I was impressed
I just got 4 new studded snows on the C300, couldn’t fit more than 2 of the original tires in the trunk, had to put 2 in bags on the back seat… if that isnt the biggest fail for a midsized luxury sedan I don’t know what is… if that little BRZ can fit 4 wheels/tires in the trunk thats god damn impressive!
and yes, eliot is right, shift is full of the smartest assholes around. Thats why we love this place.
to be fair it’s not in the trunk, but in the trunk with the back seat folded down. last time i transported tires in the miata i threw 4 snow tires inside the car, didn’t even use my luggage rack or trunk.
