You know what ad makes me go :gotme: The Mercury Mariner ad that says it’s “winning over lots and lots of Honda and Toyota owners.” I always wait for the fine print that gives the source for this claim, but it never appears :gotme:

Because they never give any numbers, or say that Honda and Toyota drivers said they’d prefer the Mercury (Blech) over honda and toyota… They are just being :snky:

mazda 6 rebadged in true ford style

Actaully even though it’s based off the Mazda 6 platform, it does have a longer wheelbase and different suspension components. It’s a decent car, and while quite a leap it still lags behind a bit.
All in all though it seemed fairly solid when I was looking at them.
I think the most annoying thing about the fusion commercials is that they rave about the value of the AWD Fusion, then show the price for a base FWD model at the end…
how does the hp and milage compare to the wrx. i don’t think subaru offers a V6 anymore either. personaly i like low end tq. don’t get my wrong i love the wrx but the lag is a bitch sometimes. also i know subaru isn’t exactly known for great milage. all and all the think the fusion is a good value on paper. its no rocket…yet but when the 2 new models come out things will get interesting for sure.
note i’ve never been in a 2.5 wrx only fuzzys 2.0.

There is a noticable difference in the torque between the two.
The GM presidents day commercial bothers the shit out of me,makes me want to leave the house…im not even watching TV,just overhearing it.
