a shep built trans is 30k.
i am pretty sure this shop “built it” themselves. as with everything else.
obviously money is not the issue. if you say you can do shit, then do shit. and do it right. especially if someone is paying whatever it is you’re asking no questions asked
i had to put a dent in my downpipe to make it not rub, but it wasn’t custom lol.
if someone is building you custom shit, there is no reason to have to smash what they built with a hammer to make it fit.
I’m sure the guy who owns the company does good work(Im pretty sure its the guy in the video)…He obviously grew the business from nothing got a customer base and recognition.
However once he started adding employees it was probably hard to grow the company and maintain a high quality product with out constant oversight etc.
From this thread and the 370z someone posted they have some serious quality control issues
I believe Emerys 2013 ran 11.1 at 121 bone stock and 10.7 with some test pipes and a tune or something like that? They are amazing machines considering it weighs over 4000 lbs
I have to agree with some things with this thread. If ur in the business of performance or working on cars. Most of the money and customers u make and keep come from your knowledge and proof. Knowledge of what ur actually doing. The amount of hours spent mean squat to me, quality > quantity. Kinda like If it take me 2 hours to do a brake job and someone else 30 min. In the end is just a brake job, U have to take it into the logic. Custom fab work is obv not the same as being a part changer. This is where brains and experience trump. Some parts don’t come with instructions. Some need tweaking. Some Need to be made from scratch. Proof of what u have done and what u are capable of is key to any success.
