This is just an example of the service i used to provide on a regular basis. It’s unfortunately not a profitable business unless done on a large scale, but i still occasionally perform the work on certain turbos.

Before:
Fully disassembled, cleaned(hot tank, chemical bath, jet wash, soda blasted), assembled with new parts where necessary, VSR balanced(vibration sort rig balancing). This particular unit balanced to .0021Mg/in at 25K rpms. I also setup and welded the turbine housing flapper shut as well, for EWG use(free float turbine housing)

Now a days I usually only work on large frame GT-R turbocharger, switzer, IHI, and mitsu. Others I’ll do on an onsight basis.

just give me a shout and drop it off when you’re ready. Doesn’t take me long to do. If i’m at the machine shop and the parts are already separated I could get them back to you in 15-20 minutes. I just did EJ’s intake manifold and sent it to swain for WL ceramic to keep the heatsoak down to a minimum.

Well I certainly hope he can get some money for this thing now. Benefits both of us. He has a fresh turbo to sell use and I have less of a tab owed on the Sti transmission.
