Difference with the motors is where the weight is. The Subaru motors are low center of gravity/flat block… pistons fire sideways and heads are on the side. LS1 obviously is not. That will throw the center of gravity off on the car which I believe was the main focus for these cars with the handling.

Im assuming a swap like this just took one of the best (affordable) out-of-the-box handling cars and turned it into… an ok handling car. I guess if you dont care about that its a cool swap but its not for me. If they go 2.5 turbo in the higher end version of this I will be purchasing as well no questions asked.

Honestly, I was happy with the power/handling as is.

You really have to drive one to appreciate it. It’s not a power house but it is freaking fun.
