just because your my roommate doesnt mean i wont be the first to point out in the 3 years of you owning a dsm your car has yet to run right or w/o a check engine light… does that mean its the car or you the owner :wink:

Its the driver or the mechanic. I raced a dsm running 11lbs of boost with a 60-1 in my stock s2000. From 25mph to 100mph, he beat me by 3/4 a car. :walter:

just crusing through the stupidity, why have you guys owned 100 dsm’s? do you need that many for spare parts? Thats alot of reliable fast cars to burn through.

only a few of them were fast. the rest were just basic fixer uppers. some just for a part out, to get performance parts or other shit off the car for other builds.

for example, i just picked up a complete running 92 auto tsi awd with a 4 bolt lsd rear end to tear down and do an auto swap on my galant. its all part of the game. when you can buy a car, snag all the parts you want, sell the rest and still make money out of the deal.

i do the same thing with honda’s so does that mean that they are all junk and have crankwalk :wink:

i personally dont know anyone who has had good luck with a dsm, the 4 or 5 that my friends owned were parked/broken down alot more than they were running, but just because thats all ive seen doesnt mean there arent nice reliable ones out there

and then i come in to play and scoop them up :slight_smile:

its me as the shitty mechanic. not gonna lie. im still in the learning process of a lot of things. your never gonna learn a damn thing about your car if its running perfectly all the time. it ran right up until last summer when i tore it all apart. im sure not all of your cars ran perfect since you started to learn how to work on them either :wink: A cel could be as simple as an O2 sensor, plus with Link I can get rid of it so you never see it :stuck_out_tongue:

Ah I forgot they’re invincible, thats why I’ve helped Brian with fixing quite a few of them and the countless ones he’s fixed by himself in the area.

fast, reliable, cheap. DSM’s only get to pick one. Honda owners get all three. Seen a lot of crx’s go into the 12’s with $2500. Thats why a lot of people hate honda’s. It sucks when you spend a shit load of money on a car and a cheap ass honda with a homemade turbo kit goes door to door with you.

How about instead of buying a whole car for a rear end why not just buy the rear end and stop ripping “good cars” apart.

EDIT: i hate hondas because most of them are slow, riced out, loud fart can, and drive like asshats. not because they are some far superior starting platform and beat me on the streetz with nawzzz

Didn’t know it took 100 dsm’s to get those kind of parts. And no I don’t read, bs will rot your mind. Must be you only look at turbo hondas that use DSM parts. Or else you would see more 12sec hondas.
