I had the opportunity to get the game 3 weeks before launch date through Turn 10 / Project Blackjack. The game is bonkers, physics seem much more fine tuned, the game features active tire flex now like Live for Speed, graphics are insane. Also, one of forzas best features was to swap motors, now that feature is on crack. All types of swaps are available. You can throw a VQ into a Datsun 510 if you feel like it, granted you’ll need to do lots of tuning to have it handle well.
Anyways, the game is amazing, and if you don’t go buy it on Oct. 27th, then your engine in your car is most likely going to die… Even in storage. hmmmk?
Here are some pictures I’ve taken in-game.
If you guys want to know anything about the game, just holler.
Forza has always had better physics than GT, but the track and car selection has always been ass. Please tell me this has been improved upon.
Car list is good, I’ll look for the official list and post it up. Turn 10 is working hard on DLC content though. There are a few free car packs coming out Day 1 of release date, and many more later on.
They’ve added quite a few tracks now. They also brought back Fujimi Kaido which is 10 miles of mountain roads. Here’s a vid featuring that:
Yes There is a S14 in the game, only Zenki until now though. The dev team is working hard to get the S13 HB, and Kouki S14 into the game since the drift community has been asking for the for a while.
Apples to Oranges IMO. Shift really tried hard to market their game as a sim, but failed. Forza is on a whole other level, along with GT5.
Excellent car selection. The track selection in Forza 2’ruined the game for me. The majority of the tracks were fictional and limited.'every series was pretty much the same tracks over and over again. I hope they really focus o.n the tracks, and keep pimping them out through dlc.
There is a drift mode, but nothing changes really. ONLY thing that changes Is that you get drift points. theres a small meter on the corner of the screen that tells you how many points you have. That’s optional though. It’s not like NFS drift mode where the physics completely change, or GT5 where you get stupid markers all over the track and checkpoints and shit. NOTHING changes. You can have a race in “drift mode” and it’ll be like a normal race, except that you will win based on how many points you have, not position. I find drift mode stupid myself.
Lol. I would take a tagged picture of my legit disk and Microsoft non disclosure agreement, but I really don’t care. And never mind the fact that I had to email a Turn 10 dev to grab my pictures from their server. Forza 3 online servers go public tomorrow because of the release in Japan.
