Meh, I filled my gas cans. Between cans and all my vehicles I have over 100 gallons on site. lol
100 gallons and a combined 12300 sustained wattage in generators. I’m watching movies and eating hot pockets for days in the power goes out.
EDIT: I also have more fire power than anyone in a few mile radius guaranteed. Do not come fuck with my shit.

I work the next few days. During situations like this, we see an increase in anxiety attacks. During the big snow storm last year, we worked for 3 hours getting a guy out if his house who insisted we take him to the hospital for his anxiety. They called a pay loader to get the ambulance unstuck. Rain is 100x better than snow for me.
I just remembered that I have a ground blind set up near the river. I guess I better go fetch that now.
What really sucks is if I do lose power, I have no battery backup for my sump in my basement…I’ll be at work all day and won’t know if it’s not working.

I will be shocked if this isn’t much ado about nothing, particularly from a Buffalo perspective.
Also, Florida is probably getting back at the North for all those jokes about how they handle half an inch of snow. They get Cat 1’s in the morning and go back to work in the afternoon.

I am seriously debating buying a generator today…I really don’t want to be without power. I have a 1/4 cow in my freezer, fish tank, sump pump, garage that only opens with power (no man door). I really don’t want to buy into the hype, but it really has me thinking now…
Finding a generator at this point may be a challenge.
