hey i installed new front control arms and ball joints, and now the car makes a tick sound when i turn, coming from the front wheels…
is it normal for the new parts to make this sound?
also the ball joints have not been greased yet

No its not normal. I replaced mine too and i don’t hear a sound, but mine are greased.
wtf… where did you buy them, the dollar store ? lol
I’ve never heard of balljoints not coming greased, is this coming new ?
Might want to consider inspecting the tie-rod ends thou as those will tick and click as you turn/hit pot holes if their worn out.
the arms come with grease fittings so you have to put the grease in yourself.
The nipples are there for you to put more grease in, or new when it gets old. I beleive all ball joints come pre-greased so they are getting returns all day long from people who have “forgot” to grease them before using.
Back to your problem…it might be your shock hats/bearing mount.
