Any non-water based lubricant should work, so silicone or wd-40 or something like that probably will, although I’d check their temp range
just to be sure.
Don’t use silicone, it’ll gum up in the really cold weather. WD40 is your best bet aside from tearing the choke apart to find out what the issue is. You might have some residual water that’s freezing up while it sits. WD40 does tend to displace water.
Wd 40 is definetly the way to go…put the straw on the can and spray it into the cable on both ends then work the choke. Do that a few times and it should work better.
I didnt even know there was such a thing.
Pulling the choke out when Im done riding seems to work but one of these times Im going to forget to do that.
