Also I realized any car can be handled in the winter depending on tires and such. But a 500 hp car isn’t going to grip no matter what tires you run if you’re in snow. I was just wondering if they are one of those cars that is manageable or not. But you all answered my questions.
How is the underbody on the car? How much rust is on there?
The e-series have a 4500 rpm redline, but they do have more torque than the 325i. They are the "E"conomy 3-series and they can get ~27 mpg on the highway.
The underbody is rusty, but not that rusty for a car from 1985 that was driven in NY winters. This is because the body has low mileage.
I was planning on driving this car for winter, but have decided to keep my current car (1995 Audi 90 quattro) and drive that. As such I undercoated the rocker panels and most of the underbody.
