i see this car is becoming another nyspeed whore lol

hows the body on it? does it need anything done? (besides the windshiled)

Drivers seat heated?

NYSpeed Whore???

This body/ drive train was from a lady in Rochester that I bought awhile ago. I took the interior form the car I think you are refering to, but that car was in VERY rough shape, rotted holes in all of the floor boards, rusted fenders/ doors rear quarters and someone ran rubber hoses from the gas tank to the engine and they were all cracked and leaking, so I took the parts I needed and made a complete car.

It runs great, the brakes are all good, but it has been sitting for awhile and they need to be used on the road. I have never driven this on the road, but I have driven it up the long driveway at my parent’s house. I don’t think it needs anything else besides the windshield, but if you know someone who might over look that and pass it for inspection it would be fine for daily use.

The body is good considering the year and how easily these cars rust. You would have to come and see it in person to determine if it is too much for you.

The drivers seat is heated, but it is not hooked up. There is the connector under the seat if someone wanted to hook it up.

How do these cars handle in the snow?

if i had the extra cash, i would love to buy this for a winter beater. more drift fun than i could ask for. good luck

If you know how to drive with oversteer, it’ll be the best winter you’ll ever have.

Is it bad though? Is it hard to get traction in these things in the winter? I can handle the oversteer i’m just wondering if i’m gonna sit there and not move when i’m at a red light cause I’m just spinning the tires.

I’m looking for something I can manage through winter with and then have some fun with in the summer. And these cars seem like they’d be a good candidate.

Just wondering how bad they REALLY are in the snow…

That depends on the tires and the driver, not the car.

I tried driving my mustang once in the snow. Even starting in second gear the 5.0 & 3.73 combo I sat there spinning the tires not moving.

So the car helps. I know it won’t be as bad as that. Just wondering if it’s easy to ease into it and get moving or if spinning is a problem.

I’ve heard people saying it was the worst winter of their lives. I also drove one around on bald tires, and another one on hard as rock 6+ year old Khumo’s. Without issue. I tend to think ANY car can be driven in the snow.

I rocked the shit out of mpd47’s cars and never had a problem.

sounds like a decent winter car GLWS:bump:

i drove mikes E30 as well in the winter. there a lot of fun, and not hard to manage. even with bald tires in the snow the car was drivable.

with the tires that come with the spare wheels, it will be great in the snow. the kumho all seasons are all right, 2 hakkas or blizzaks and it would be unstoppable

:word: Everyone asks how good a car is in the snow when they should really be asking how good the tires and the driver are in the snow.

my bad i thought this was coldaccords old car.

No problem, as stated above in my reply, you are correct a little, some of the parts are from Coldaccord’s old car (I used the parts I needed/ could use), but the body was not one of them.

This comes with 4 (four) extra snow tires on seperate rims. 2 (two) of the snow tires are studded.

on that note, this car will be a TANK this winter.

the 325e has the lower redline right? ive been thinking of picking up a winter beater/daily for school
