Recent Engine Build:
After some infamous cyl #4 ringland crack :Idiots… Raw stage one short block with forged cp pistons, resurfaced/rebuilt heads, new tb/tb tensioner, oil pump, gaskets, etc. The engine build was done by the guys at Synapse and I could not be happier. I have approximately 1500 break in miles on the build with no issues whatsoever. The oil will be changed this weekend with motul 10w30 for the winter. EDIT: Changed.

-FP Green turbo(3in inlet/8cm combo, internal gate) Guys at synapse confirm the turbo is in great shape with no shaft play.
-Stainless steel braided oil feed line
-TGV deletes
-Deatschwerks 850cc side feed injectors
-Walbrol 255lph fuel pump
-APS 3in hard pipe turbo inlet
-KS tech 83mm mega MAF intake, K&N filter
-TurboXS front mount intercooler
-TurboXS cat-less turbo back exhaust
-TurboLogic manual boost controller
-ACT 6-puck sprung clutch
-ACT streetlite flywheel
-Kart boy shifter bushings
-Extra engine grounds
-Omoni boost gauge
-Alpine flip down head unit w/ipod hook up
-Alpine speakers front and rear
-17in Rota tarmac II wheels-new tires/alignment
-Urethane front lip
-Tinted windows
-Dyno tuned at Innovative tuning(custom map-open source)

That’s about all that comes to mind…might be missing some small things, but you get the idea. Car is pretty quick and pulls hard when in boost. It made 331 wheel hp and 353 ft-lbs at I believe 22-23psi, keep in mind a stock 08 STI made 198 wheel hp and 217 ft-lbs on the same Mustang dyno.

I’m still on the original tune from Mike at Innovative and will be scheduling more dyno time soon to tweak a few things. Most of the previous work was done at Innovative. I have all receipts and maintenance on the car. Car shifts smooth, drives straight and is a blast all year round.

Are you the original owner? Any accidents/damage?

No accidents or damage at all, and I am the 4th owner but don’t be alarmed as I have a pretty good background on the car. It was originally a southern car (VA) and was purchased from Subaru used by a moderator on nyspeed with about 20k on it I believe. He kept the car stock, attended a few auto-x events and kept a great maintenance history on the car, which I now have. At around 50k miles he sold it to anther nyspeeder who had most of the work (turbo/fp/injectors/fmic/clutch/etc) done at innovative tuning in Buffalo. I recently purchased the car from him with 63k on it and after a short period of ownership cracked the ringland. I had synapse build the block for me, and I have been breaking her in for about 3 weeks now with no issues.

21k shift discount… Some wiggle room but pretty firm. Like I said, I don’t have to sell the car so don’t waste my time with garbage offers.

Thanks. OK so I have gotten ZERO interest at the price I have it at.

I also put way too many miles on her at work last week and it’s bothering me.

I’m beginning to become a bit more serious regarding selling this thing, and not just feeling things out.

I’m going to throw this out here just for shit and giggles, as I am taking a huge hit on the build and the parts I have sitting here in my room waiting to be bolted on (mudflaps, underplate, hellatone horns, laminex, wing stiffy etc)

19k get it before I change my mind. This is a stupid deal for the quality of the car and the build at synapse.

PS: She’ll be going in to synapse this upcoming week for a post build comp/leakdown/boost leak test and I am also buying fluids for a tranny and diff flush/fill. I’ll update accordingly.
